I believe every person is unique and
therapy is not a uniform process.
Even when you are beset with problems, there are inner qualities and abilities that can and are waiting to help. My approach focuses on helping people find themselves in ways that support growth. In therapy, clients develop their understanding of what is causing and maintaining pain and experience how healing can begin.
Identity development is a lifelong process.
Important issues can impact all or any significant area of life: relationships, mood, personal goals, spirituality, personal meaning. In my practice, an important concern of therapy is supporting and helping with exploration of strengths, individuality, meaning, and healthy relatedness.
My approach involves person centered, cognitive-behavioral, depth and existential perspectives.
